About the 'Ultimate Edition'

'Waiting for the Match (The Final Cut)' Part One was first presented in 2007 and has since been restaged multiple times. In 2021, the playwright created a corresponding narrative for the characters in Part One, presenting their 'other halves'. The two parts are interconnected and offer contrasting perspectives. While they can be enjoyed independently, experiencing the nearly five-hour-long performance of both parts will provide a deeper understanding of the story's intricacies and emotions. This version is the ultimate presentation of the series.

Synopsis:

Part One (His Story): A marriage introduction agency boasts a 100% success rate and features a confessional room where lying is not permitted. Three men arrive in succession: a middle-aged boss who has spent his life with puzzles but has never pieced together a marriage; an IT worker who seeks to fill his 'spiritual fracture' with physical connections; and a gifted youth whose multiple doctoral degrees have made him emotionally 'insulated'. As the door locks behind them, a meticulous interrogation of their inner selves commences……

Part Two (Her Story): The perspective shifts to three women, aged 20, 30, and 40. As they film their self-introductions, a voice relentlessly questions them, gradually uncovering long-hidden secrets and scars……
